So when we have an EV Vehicle we are already concerned that we can't travel long we have to carry the charger or something like that. and i want to build an application where household people can list there Charging Ports in the App not just household but the app will also detect nearby charging ports. and when someone is in need of the Charging port he can actually check charging port near him and in the radius the app will scan if any pod is nearby. the person in emergency or lowest battery will be assigned to the household charging pod nearby and he can book it at the rate of per hour. and he can go there and charge the vehicle pay the person the amount and gate away. not just that the app will check if the vehicle has less battery so at that threshold battery it will redirect the journey through the nearest and shortest path to an EV charging pod without disturbing the journey the person is having.
How much experience does your group have? Does the project use anything (art, music, starter kits) you didn't create?
Vibe-coded and architected entirely by us with AI assistance. We planned the modular structure, flows, and prompt engineering, using Vite, Tailwind CSS, Node.js, Express, PostgreSQL, and Google Maps API to build the app.
What challenges did you encounter?
Connecting PostgreSQL and database environment variables securely to the production environment, setting up seamless Google OAuth authentication, and persisting user session state across reloads. We also ran into edge case bugs such as properly enforcing state transitions when a single user switches roles between host (listing a charger) and guest (booking a charger)—which required tightening our backend validation logic.
