Time Capsule

Time Capsule Portal is a fully-working recreation of a 2000s-style internet portal — the kind of chunky, blue-gradient, gold-buttoned site you'd bookmark on a dial-up connection. It bundles retro games, music, memes, and a Community page into one nostalgic browser experience.

This is the first group project our team has worked together on . While we don't have prior experience as a team, each of us has some individual coding experience from building small websites, simple apps, and other beginner programming projects.

One of the biggest challenges we faced was that some of our team members had little to no coding experience. Because of this, learning new concepts and completing tasks took longer than we expected. Another major challenge was linking all of the web pages together correctly. We ran into several issues with navigation and file paths, and it took a lot of testing and debugging before everything worked as intended. Despite these challenges, we worked together, learned from our mistakes, and successfully completed the project.
