The project involves enhancing the AWX platform by implementing a feature to set a maximum execution limit for scheduled jobs. Currently, AWX allows scheduling jobs but lacks the capability to automatically disable these schedules after a specific number of successful executions. This new feature will provide users with better control over job executions, preventing indefinite runs and optimizing resource management.
