Nocodb turns any MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, SQLite & MariaDB into a smart spreadsheet.

This issue is to fix a bug with the editor where text areas (large multi-line text inputs) do not automatically expand, leading to text showing up outside the screen. If time allows we will move on to other issues in this project or may select another project if the team agrees.

What tools did you use to create your project?

  • typescript

How much experience does your group have? Does the project use anything (art, music, starter kits) you didn't create?

Our team possesses a robust proficiency in computer programming, encompassing a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms. Over the course of this project, we have gained valuable expertise in utilizing vue.js and typescript, which has further enhanced our technical capabilities. As a result, we have acquired a substantial level of experience in these areas, enabling us to effectively tackle complex challenges and deliver high-quality solutions.

What challenges did you encounter?

During the initial phases of the project, we encountered a setback when one of our team members had to discontinue their involvement. This unexpected departure posed a challenge for us, as it required redistributing responsibilities and ensuring a smooth continuation of the project.

Furthermore, as we progressed with the project, we faced the additional challenge of maintaining an open and collaborative environment. This meant that the project was accessible to other individuals, allowing them to contribute and build upon our progress. While this approach fostered a sense of inclusivity and diversity of ideas, it also presented the challenge of integrating external contributions seamlessly.

However, we successfully navigated these challenges by effectively managing the transition caused by the team member's departure and leveraging the collaborative nature of the project. In one instance, another individual stepped in during a specific week, picked up where we had left off, completed the assigned tasks, and successfully merged their solution with the existing codebase.

These experiences not only tested our adaptability and teamwork but also provided us with valuable insights into managing unexpected changes and embracing external contributions in a dynamic project environment.
