While making the "AntiSocial" project, I can foresee some challenges we encounter while using React Native, MongoDB, and Express for its implementation. Here are few challenges we facedn and potential solutions we implemented:
1. User Authentication and Security: Implementing user authentication securely is crucial for a project like AntiSocial. We need to ensure that user data is protected and only accessible by the rightful owner. Using JWT (JSON Web Tokens) for authentication and implementing proper encryption for sensitive data will be essential.
2. Real-Time Updates: As users complete tasks and their followers change, we need to provide real-time updates to the user interface. Implementing real-time communication using WebSockets or a push notification system can ensure a seamless experience.
3. Backend Development: Building a robust backend with Express and MongoDB involves structuring the API endpoints, implementing data validation and error handling, and optimizing database queries for performance.
4. Testing and Bug Fixing: Rigorous testing is essential to identify and fix any bugs or issues before the app's release. We should use unit tests, integration tests, and perform thorough manual testing across different scenarios.
