A platformer hack'n'slash game with puzzle elements that has the player playing as a character traveling back in time to stop the advent of time travel, fighting against other time travelers that are trying to stop them. The player will be able to freeze time to observe their environment and the enemies will have various abilities related to time, such as moving back in time after they are hit initially, or slowing down nearby players.
How much experience does your group have? Does the project use anything (art, music, starter kits) you didn't create?
One code day and 24 hours of frustration looking at videos waiting for programs to download and work (Daniel). We did not make Unity or C#, but we wrote the code ourselves without copy any large projects.
What challenges did you encounter?
GitHub refused to upload the repository due to a single file that we eventually ended up deleting (and GitHub still thought it existed) and we struggled for 4 hours trying to get it to work. Platforms were also difficult to make.
