Will I be famous one day?...

Well, our code can tell you that! We made a fortune bot using the Digi-key kit that allows the user to ask a question and then press a button to receive a response on the OLED display.

How much experience does your group have? Does the project use anything (art, music, starter kits) you didn't create?

We both have basically no experience. We have both taken very basic introductory classes in school for computer science. This project uses the Digikey electronic kit which we did not create as well as code that has been adapted from Arduino forums at the advice of CodeDay staff. We did our best to create everything from scratch, but this style of coding brought new challenges along the way that we needed to brainstorm solutions for.

What challenges did you encounter?

We faced a multitude of challenges while trying to create our program. However, the main two we faced had to deal with one aspect of our code, randomization. We kept trying and failing to create a way to get a random string from an array. After multiple efforts, we finally figured out a way to create an array and utilize the random function on Arduino to get a random string from the array. Our second biggest challenge was trying to get the randomized string to be the output. Whenever we kept trying to press the button on the beginner electronics kit, nothing was being displayed. We kept brainstorming solutions and eventually figured that we could...
