I was inspired to create this after my best friend missed a payment on her credit card.
An app that uses some API to connect to linked financial institutions and retrieve information on a card like how much money is due, show interest amount, and if I'm lucky autopay or make it easy to pay before the due date of the payment.

How much experience does your group have? Does the project use anything (art, music, starter kits) you didn't create?
I have experience with Lua on ROBLOX and Java/JavaScript in the context of intro to programming classes.
For this project, I'll be using Python for the first time to interact with APIs (something I haven't done in other languages before).
I didn't create the starter GitHub repository of Plaid which is what I'm using to get information from connected banks.

What challenges did you encounter?
Pre-project: I expect to run into challenges with syntax surrounding the API and more challenges with making data that I get through the API visible to the user.
Day 2 of working: I think I will abandon this until I get more experience, I set the bar too high for myself.
