Sloth and Llama Simulation Using Digikey! By Mugglebots (Mimi & Kyra)

Hello, we’re Mimi (14) and Kyra (11)! Recently, we’ve loved learning about coding so we wanted to try out the DigiKey electronics kit for this CodeDay! We ran into a lot of issues but ultimately we’re proud of our work and had a lot of fun! We hope to keep working on our project in the future to get it working properly.

Mimi knows a bit of python and Kyra does as well. In terms of C and C++ we’re total beginners! Most of the images came from Google but Kyra is very artistic and hopes to incorporate some of her designs into the project in the near future!

We couldn’t get the board to work at first and didn’t know how to upload pictures. We also couldn’t get a lot of the code to work in the end since we are total beginners with electronics and the language. At one point, we actually considered giving up! Ultimately, we were able to persevere and sought out some help through discord! The Help Desk was super supportive and helpful though and we’re proud of what we were able to accomplish!
