We planned on making a cool led-light music console, using arudino's input to pause/play/skip Amber's original music that would then play on the computer! Unfortunately, we ran into some issues with the Keyboard library and the arudino uno, and failed to connect the music in the end- but we ended up with 2 really neat songs that Amber coded on earsketch and some cool led lights!

Note: The video after 2 minutes is filler and to showcase Ambers Music, so watching after 2 minutes is not necessary.

How much experience does your group have? Does the project use anything (art, music, starter kits) you didn't create?

Zoe- some experience in coding, and a little bit of Arduino experience from Winter Codeday 2021 (in which she made Pocket Frog! :) Note: Zoe was very pre-occupied with a volleyball tournament, so Amber had to take the wheel most of the time :o

Amber- no coding experience, knows how to make music but basically nothing about coding and especially nothing about Arduinos.

We will be using Amber's original music from earsketch and a Digikey set to make our DJ Frog!

What challenges did you encounter?

We encountered many challenges, 1 being we couldn't work on it much together since Zoe was at a Volleyball tournament.
We encountered many challenges with uploading the code onto our arudino, and making sure that our code would fit onto the arudino's very small memory. Later we had many issues with making sure the LED ring and matrix trying to make the animation on the matrix work with the delay of the LED ring. Because of the limitation in time and the time we couldn't work together we couldn't put as many functions as we planned- like connecting the arduino to the computer so that it could play music.
