Your best friend is a superhero. Unfortunately, you're an intern at 17 Corp, a cover name for their villainous heisting program. And you want that promotion. In order find out more about his secret superhero life, you're going to need a closer look at what he does. You take a mind control set from the company, and while hanging out with your friend, you attach it to his neck. Going back home, you set up the rest of the set and start taking over his actions. Now, all you have to do is act normal.
This goes along with the theme "Into The Unknown" because you don't actually know what's going on in someone else's head or in their life.
This game will consist of story cutscenes and choices you can make that will affect the outcome. The choices will be your response to a situation where you think you need to act normal.
I think the game will also be a bit puzzle-like because you can take your observations to find the best possible way to act normal in that situation.
Unfortunately, I was not able to finish this and I think I need to redo the code, but I learned about using a GameManager in Unity how to make buttons in Unity! I was able to find a video about making the buttons work for your choices too. I made a few rough sketches for the scene but THESE AREN'T THE FINAL DRAWINGS, I DON'T REALLY DRAW LIKE THIS BUT IT WAS GOING TO BE A ROUGH IDEA OF WHAT THE SCENE SHOULD LOOK LIKE.
How much experience does your group have? Does the project use anything (art, music, starter kits) you didn't create?
I've used Scratch to make games, I learned Javascript and Python coding a long time ago and forgot almost all of it, and I'm trying to learn Python and C# by myself (I'm brand new to C# and I think I started using an online course for it around the beginning of Febuary) using online resources.
