We want to make a puzzle-platform game about a cave explorer who gets trapped in a cave. The only way to go is further down. It uses perspective to change the platforms placement in a 2D environment, inspired by the indie game FEZ.
How much experience do you have? Does the project use anything you didn't create?
We have participated in two prior CodeDay's in the past. We created The Night of Day, a souls-like with a post-apocalyptic theme, and Nano Toaster, a top-down shoot-em-up where you launch toast at an army of peanutbutter jars. The Night Of Day won best in show, and Nano Toaster won Most Creative and Fun. Aidan is the main coder and level designer. Orion is the music creator, project coordinator, and also contributed to level design. Dylan is the main model and art designer, as well as planning. Maximos contributed to level design, music, concept sketching, and planning.
