I have almost no experience with Ruby on Rails. I used the default `rails new app` boilerplate to create my project and followed the Rails documentation. Most of the words on the site are my own.

At first, I couldn't get Rails to work on my computer. I asked a bunch of people, but no one seemed to be able to figure out the issue (except a mentor on Discord!). It took 2+ hours of typing random things in the Terminal and breaking lots of things to finally get it to work. I had to upgrade my Ruby version which was kind of difficult to figure out and do with the slow internet at the CodeDay Bay Area venue. (Shoutout to Jordon&Squid#9873 on CodeDay Discord for helping me out)

I couldn't figure out how to deploy my app. I also ran out of time to figure out how to style my app.
